Web Development with UI & UX

Learn to build websites and design the experiences that make them work, from scratch

The course covers two skill sets that belong together in modern web work. First, the technical foundation: HTML for structure, CSS for visual design and JavaScript for interactivity, built from the ground up with hands-on labs throughout. Then the design side: UX research methods, design thinking, wireframes, interactive prototypes and UI design principles that govern how interfaces are built and iterated.

• Build clean, semantic HTML and accessible page structures
• Apply CSS layouts with Flexbox, Grid, media queries and transitions
• Make web pages respond to user input with JavaScript and DOM manipulation
• Conduct user research and build wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Apply UI design patterns and interaction design principles in practice

Each part of the course concludes with an assessment that gives you something concrete to show a potential employer or include in a portfolio.

• Building interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use
